I can’t push straight when standing on one leg?!

That’s super normal, especially when you’re still getting comfortable pushing.

Balancing on one leg while pushing is actually one of the hardest beginner skills, so don’t stress about it 🔥

A few tips to help you go straighter:

👉 Keep your shoulders square

Where your shoulders point, your board follows. Try to face forward instead of opening up too much.

👉 Look where you want to go

Your body naturally follows your eyes — pick a straight line ahead and focus on it.

👉 Bend your front knee slightly

This gives you more balance and control instead of being stiff.

👉 Short, controlled pushes

Don’t overreach — small pushes help you stay stable and straight.

👉 Practice standing on one leg (stationary first)

Even just balancing on your board without moving will improve your control quickly.

👉 Try on smoother ground

Rough ground makes it way harder to stay straight.

Honestly, just keep practicing — it clicks faster than you think 💯
