I got my daughter some 85a bushings for her Carver CX along with pivot cups and I cannot believe how much better they make the board. It is extremely surfy, smoother on turns and has better rebound. At 92kg, I would have never tried the 85a, but I am sold. My next Surfskate will be a CX with 85a Riptide APS bushings. If you’re an experienced surfer, you should be able to handle the softer bushing even if it is rated for lighter people."
